Ditch (Unexcavated)

Phasing

The feature was unexcavated, although it was demonstrably cut by the Medieval/Post-Medieval drain 011AA00022. The only find was aa Anglian copper alloy pin.

Discussion

As this feature was unexcavated, and the context record is sparse to say the least, very little can be said about this ditch. It was located in the north-eastern part of area 11AA, and was seen to be cut by the Medieval/Post-Medieval drain 011AA00022. A find of a copper alloy Anglian pin is significant, although as the feature was unexcavated, it must be presumed that this was a surface find.
