Undefined Feature

Discussion

An undefined feature with an elongated shape, this was one of a number of similar features in the immediate area. No finds and no animal bones were recovered from the feature. The fill was a medium texture loamy sand (Munsell 10YR 3/4) with 10% chalk gravel inclusions. The feature was cut into chalk and chalk gravel, down to an undulating base of silty (red) sand.
