Discussion

A probable animal burrow situated some 3 metres to the west of a medieval drainage ditch. Only one find (a Romano-British potsherd), was recovered from the fill, which was a fine loamy sand (Munsell 10YR 4/3) with 10% chalk gravel inclusions. The feature was cut into chalk gravel.
