Post Hole

Discussion

One of a group of 6 post holes, located to the east of undefined feature 011AB00360 and to the west of a medieval drain,  which do not form any apparent structure or pattern. Three non-local stones, together with a number of large chalk fragments were found in the feature, the remains of post packing. The fill was a medium textured loamy sand (Munsell 10YR 3/4). The feature was cut into the sandy chalk gravel natural.
