Undefined Feature

Discussion

An undefined, probably natural feature, situated just to the east of the modern drain line. A very clean, loamy sand fill (Munsell 10YR 4/3) with <5% chalk inclusions. The fill was heavily burrowed and iron panned. There were no finds associated with this feature. The feature was cut into a sandy chalk gravel, with a very uneven base, which also contained a number of burrows.
