Pit

Discussion

A small pit located just to the west of ditch 011AB00582. The fill was generally a clean sandy fill with a number of dark patches (Munsell 10/YR/32). Some burnt daub was noted on the surface, but was not found within the pit. There were no bone finds. Only one object, a flint flake, was recovered from the feature. The pit was cut into natural sand and sand & gravel.
