Ditch

Discussion

A short segment of ditch, only visible for a length of 772cm. The ditch was cut into loamy sand and chalk gravel, and had a flat-based U profile. The fill was a loamy sand (Munsell 10/YR/33) and contained only one potsherd (Roman). No identifiable animal bone was recovered.
