Discussion

Although the area around this solitary post hole was carefully cleaned, no other post holes were detected. This part of the site was very severely plough damaged, and it is probable that any further structural evidence had been ploughed away. Unfortunately, the only find from this feature was a non-diagnostic fragment of pottery found on the surface.
