Discussion

A trowelling spit to define the north-south oriented enclosure ditches in the south-eastern part of area 11AE. In the event, only the westernmost of the ditches (011CE07093) was defined, and further spits (011AE00410 and 011AE00430) were removed to fully define the remaining enclosure ditches. Only one potsherd and six animal bones were recovered from this spit.
