Discussion

A small pit (or possibly a post hole) situated 2 metres to the west of feature 011AE07089. The pit contained no finds or animal bones. It was filled with a loamy sand (Munsell 10/YR/43) and contained chalk inclusions of around 15%. The pit was cut into chalk gravel natural. If it was a post hole, no other structural features were noted in this vicinity.
