Discussion

A small, irregularly shaped spit taken down to define the extent of the ditches to the east of the stream channel. All of the finds exposed were lifted under the individual contexts (part of the two enclosure ditches 011BC07126 an 011BC07127) defined by the removal of this spit. Although this is within the area 11BC, this spit was actually beneath an 11BF number, thus is included in the 11BF matrix diagram.
