Discussion

A ditch partially excacvated at the end of the 1991 season. There were no objects and only one animal bone recovered from the excavated section. The ditch was cut into hillwash, with a regular U-shaped profile. It was not possible to associate the ditch with one of the main enclosures excavated in area 11AE, although if its alignment continues in a NNW direction, it could be a phase of ditch 011AE07140.
