Discussion

A small post hole in area 11BD, one of two post holes (with post hole 011BD01279 to the north) cut through the east side of slot 011BD00709. The plan shows this feature to be to the east of the slot and not cut through it; this is what was planned although the context record clearly shows that the two were intercutting. The fill was flecked with charcoal and daub and contained no finds. The slot is almost certainly post-medieval in date and these post holes were probably associated with it.
