Discussion

The north/east terminus of a ditch in the south of area 11CD. The ditch continued under the area baulk, under the present road. The continuation of the feature into area 12AD to the south was not established. The V shaped profile of the ditch suggests it may be Roman in date but Anglian daub was also recovered from the fill.
