Pit

Discussion

A small pit or post hole cut into the natural chalk gravel and located roughly centrally within the projected circumference of a Middle Bronze Age ring ditch (011AE00070). The only find was a sherd of Middle Bronze Age pottery, so it is likely that the two features are contemporary.
