Discussion

A short curvilinear ditch in area 12AA. The ditch may be a continuation of ditch 012AA00228 to the south, forming part of an enclosure system, although this was not visible during excavation. The ditch was cut by two post holes of master 012AA07174. The fill contained two 4th Century pottery sherds, a limpet shell and one identifiable animal bone.
