Discussion

This spit was directly under the machine clearance (012AA00001), and was located specifically to define ditches 012AA00013, 012AA00014 and 012AA00201. Of note were the 9 limpet shells recovered from this area. However, they did not occur in any specific location, and no further shells were found in the ditches.
