Discussion
This was a short, shallow feature, located in the centre of area 12AB.
It contained a single fill (012AB00301), a silty
clay loam (Munsell colour 10YR 3/4), with 15% angular chalk inclusions
(all less than 2cm in diameter). No charcoal flecking was noted, and the
only finds were two burnt daub fragments.
The feature was cut into hillwash (and through ditch 012AB01029), with
a U-shaped profile.
