This was a narrow slot, revealed by the removal of material from feature 012AD08348.  The fill was a medium sandy loam (Munsell colour 10YR 4/3), with 5% chalk inclusions (0.5-1.5cm in diameter). No daub or charcoal flecking was noted. Although animal bone finds are indicated in the context record, these are not present in the animal bone database, indicating they were all non-zoned.
