Discussion
The single fill was 012AD08959, a medium sandy loam
(Munsell colour 10YR 4/3), with 5% chalk inclusions (1-4cm in diameter).
Some slight daub, but no charcoal flecking was noted. Although the context
record indicates that animal bones were found, these must have been non-zoned
and thus do not appear in the animal bone database.
The pit was cut into hillwash, with a V-shaped profile.
