SLOT

Discussion

A narrow, north-south oriented slot. The feature was severely plough truncated and was only visible on the ground in the southern part of the area, even though geophysical evidence indicated that the feature did continue across the whole area. The feature was very shallow, thus it was difficult to establish the profile, although it has a regular flat base. Finds included a few very small fragments of bone (unidentified) and 1 piece of ironstone.
