LINE OF POST HOLES

Discussion

An east/west aligned line of 5 post holes in the south/west of area 12AE. The length of the line is approximately 11.4m. A further possible post hole is situated just to the south of the easternmost of the posts holes in the line and is included in this Master number. The only finds (3 Romano-British potsherds) came from the largest of the post holes (012AE00178) which also contained a clearly visible post pipe (012AE00007).
