Discussion

Although recorded as a depression, it is possible that this is another shallow pit (like 012AC00147, 012AC00208 and 012AC00212 just to the south). The fill, which contained no finds, was a medium sandy clay loam (Munsell colour 10YR 4/3).

The pit was cut  through surface 012AC00022, with a U-shaped profile.
