Site 13 is situated in the field to the west of Site 12. Geophysics 
had indicated that the western boundary to the settlement was located in
the north-eastern part of Site 13, and 3 trenches were situated to test
this as well as to investigate an unusual rectilinear anomaly (trench 13AB).
Spit 012AD05006 (in effect another trench) was excavated on the other side
of the hedge in Site 12 to see what happened to the rectilinear anomaly
in the east.
