Discussion

A small east/west slot/gully approximately 260cm in length rather than the estimated 120cm in the context record which was the excavated length. The relationship with slot master 002CA00342 to the north was not fully established although it is likely that this is the earliest of three cuts of the south side of an enclosure ditch. The slots are cut through by Grubenhaus 002CA00762 to the south and by medieval furrow 002CA00680. Contained one abraded pottery sherd of Romano-British date.
