Like round house 002CB07036, the round house foundation was never seen on the ground, the ephemeral remains seen only from the air. Two slots (002CB00239 and 002CB00487) were noted at the entrance to the round house, with another two slots (002CB00489 and 002CB00491) noted to the north. It is probable that this is a replacement for an entrance to an earlier round house. No animal bones were associated with the slots. One of the slots 002CB00239, was cut by enclosure ditch 002CB00229, a Roman enclosure. An intrusive Anglian unfired clay loom weight was found in this slot. It was difficult to define whether feature 002CB00497 was part of this structure, as it was very shallow and amorphous. It contained a flint scraper.
