A group of four post holes located to the south of post hole structure 002CC01902 and may relate to the building. The post holes, varying in depth between 13 - 30 cm, occur adjacent to a break in gully 002CC01532, which forms the foundation trench of the east and south-east walls of the post hole structure. This gap may indicate the location of an entrance, with the post hole group forming an associated external feature, but it is more likely the result of truncation given the shallow depth (6cm) of the gully. All four post holes lie below spit 002CC00018 and are cut into chalk natural.
