Hollow Way?

Phasing

Discussion

A large, undefined, shallow feature which is possibly a hollow way. No finds were retrieved from the fill of the hollow-002CC00616. The feature was overlain by the buried soil 002CC00113 which contained 40 objects, the majority of which were pottery sherds of predominantly Roman date. This feature appears to have been cut by a pit-like feature 002CC00183 (which cuts through the buried soil 002CC00113) on the south side although this was not evident in the section drawings.
