Group of 4 Natural Features

Discussion

A group of four ?natural features located to the west of Grubenhäuser 002DA00149 and 002DA00152. The features were initially noted as patches of slightly darker areas in the sand when the baulk between areas 2CA and 2DA was removed. All of the features were filled with a silty sand and were almost inclusion free. They were damaged by root action and animal burrowing. Very few finds were recovered from these features, most of which appear to be animal burrows. The only exception was 002DA00145, which contained a much higher concentration of small animal bones (only four were identifiable). Slight charcoal flecking was noted in all of the fills.
