Pit

Phasing

Discussion

A very shallow pit in the north of area 2DA, between two medieval furrows (master 002DA07046). Although originally designated Neolithic in date, this is unlikely due to the lack of finds and the insubstantial nature of the feature. The fill contained animal bone and some charcoal flecking.
