Discussion

A large, shallow pit in central 2DA, cut by medieval furrow 002DA00077 (master 002DA07046). The pit was believed to be Anglian in date and contained large pieces of charcoal and flecking throughout. The majority of the finds were recovered from the north/west corner, probably as this was the part least disturbed by the medieval furrow.
