Stone Setting    A pre-excavation view of 2DB308 from the south

Discussion

An elongated stone setting, which contained no finds. It was unusual in this area in that very few concentrations of stone were found (unlike Sites 11 and 12), but also its orientation was exactly in line with Grubenhaus 002DB00164 immediately to the east. An east-west longitudinal section was excavated, which established that up to three posts were centrally located within the setting.
