Isolated Post Hole

Discussion

An isolated  post hole located 4.3 metres to the south-west of Grubenhaus 002DC00042. No finds were recovered from the fill, which was a fine textured loamy sand (Munsell 10YR 4/6), much lighter than all of the other features in the immediate vicinity. The fill contained a high quantity of charcoal flecks. The post hole was cut into decayed pink and fragmentary white chalk.
