Discussion

A slight linear feature in the north of area 2CC, to the north of grubenhaus 002CC01802. It was located just to the east of a pit, 002CC01805. The feature was always difficult to define, and was originally thought to be nothing more than machine track disturbance, although the number of finds mitgate against this interpretation.

It was located just to the east of a pit, 002CC01805.

The feature was cut into sand & gravel, to the north of the chalk. It was defined to some extent by patches of iron pan on the base and sides.
