Discussion

A second machine cleaning spit over an area of buried soil, followed by shovel scraping and trowelling to define the features. The entrance of enclosure 011AB10005 was defined, as well as a north-south oriented post hole structure (011AB07064). Very few finds were recovered from this spit, in stark contrast to the number of finds from spit 011AB00576, immediately to the west.
