A short segment of narrow slot, which was not seen to continue to the east or the west. No objects and only three animal bones (2 cattle and 1 sheep/goat) were recovered from the fill, which was a dark sandy loam (Munsell 10/YR/32) with up to 25% chalk inclusions. The slot was cut into loamy sand (the sand being quite red in colour). Possibly some form of drainage leading into the stream channel. A similar slot (011AB00920) was excavated some 38 metres to the north.
