Discussion

This was a small area of cleaning (in effect a spit, although it has been classified as a layer) just to the east of the south-western corner of enclosure ditch 011AB10005. The material removed was a loamy sand (Munsell colour 10YR 3/6). Finds included an Anglian iron knife.
