Discussion

 This was the second of four spits (under 012AA00087, above 012AA00121 and the smaller 012AA00207) in this area to try to define the return of a sequence of ditches swinging in from the south and south-east, at the intersection with the enclosures to the north. Only one animal bone was recovered from this context. The removal of this spit defined ditch 012AA00016.
