The feature contained no material culture. It was sealed by spit 012AD00285,
and had no other stratigraphic relationships.. It was located immediately
to the east of the pit 012AD00573,
which contained a single sherd of late Romano-British pottery.

Discussion
This was a narrow, short slot located immediately to the east of pit 012AD00573.
Its single fill was a fine sandy clay loam (Munsell colour 10YR 4/3), with
10% chalk inclusions. No daub and charcoal flecking were noted. It was
quite shallow, as were many of the other features in the immediate vicinity,
due to plough truncation.
The feature was cut into chalk. The profile was recorded as U-shaped,
although its shallow nature made this difficult to ascertain.
