Discussion

A short segment of ditch located just to the north of ditch 012AE00030 . It is quite likely that we are seeing only the very bottom of this ditch due to severe plough truncation. The ditch contained no finds or animal bones. Daub flecking was noted throughout. Its alignment with ditch 012AE00030 suggests that these are two phases of the same enclosure, but as there are no direct stratigraphic links between them it is not known which was earlier.
