Discussion
This was a cleaning spit located in the north-western quadrant of area
2DB. The material removed was a sandy silty loam (Munsell colour 10YR 3/6).
No 3-dimensional points have been retrieved for the finds from this spit,
so the animal bone only has been displayed in the plan above. Further definition
of features was required in the north of the area, although in the south
a trackway (002DB07202) and a small
pit (002DB00317) were defined.
