The only diagnostic find was a sherd of late Romano-British pottery. The
feature was cut by pits 012AD08635
and 012AD08823, as well as by slot
012AD08680

Discussion
This was a narrow, shallow slot, cut by a number of other features in the
immediate vicinity (in the centre of the dry valley). Its single fill was
a sandy loam (Munsell colour 10YR 4/3), with very few small chalk inclusions
present. No daub or charcoal flecking were noted.
The slot was cut into hillwash, with a U-shaped profile.
