Discussion

This was the final spit across part of the northern arm of enclosure 011BA07130, in an attempt to define the ditch edges where it had been disturbed by Medieval ploughing. The material removed was a sandy loam (Munsell colour 10YR 4/3). Finds included both a limpet and a winkle shell.
