Discussion

This was a cleaning spit to define any remaining cremation pits in the cemetery 011BA07084. It was very lightly trowelled and then hand brushed. The material removed was a sandy silty loam (Munsell colour 10YR 4/3). Eight further cremation pits were defined. The only finds were two sherds of comb impressed beaker pottery, both found close to cremation pits.
