Discussion

These numbers were issued to cover a box section across the deposits at the southern edge of the area. It was initially excavated so that Richard Macphail could take a soil sample through all of the soil horizons down to the chalk bedrock, and was then extended to detect the feature responsible for a linear geophysical anomaly (ditch 011BA00442).
