Discussion

This spit was excavated in order to define a number of features located between enclosure ditches 011BA07130 and 011BA07129. The material removed was a silty clay loam (Munsell colour 10YR 4/3). A number of features were defined, including ditches 011BA00510, 011BA00543, 011BA00553, 011BA00555, 011BA00588 and 011BA00669, as well as the southern half of ?post hole structure 011BA07133.
